Students of class VIII to X eligible for NCC are shortlisted mainly on fitness ground. In the 2 years tenure, for A certificate eligibility cadets undergo various interesting training activities like Drill, Range Firing, Aero Modeling etc. Cadets have to attend one Annual Training Camp which is the minimum eligibility to appear for NCC A-Certificate Examination. The Army Wing troupe is attached to 38 CGBN NCC, Rajnandgaon.
The Army Wing Cadets carry out various activities during the annual calendar to create awareness campaign in the neighboring areas.

Aims of NCC
To develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and the ideals of selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizen. To create a human resource of organised trained and motivated youth to provide leadership in all walks of life including the Armed Forces and be always available for the service of the nation.
